Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the processes of internal migration in Kazakhstan in the period from 2000 to 2019. Also the main vectors of internal migrants are identified. On the basis of secondary data analysis, the factors that shape internal migration flows in the country are analyzed. The paper considers state programs aimed at stimulating the relocation of citizens from labor-surplus regions to labor-deficient regions, gives their results and addresses the problems that make difficult to analyze the effectiveness of these state programs.
