INTERNAL MIGRATION OF YOUTH IN KAZAKHSTAN: THE EXAMPLE OF ALMATY AND ZHETYSU REGIONS

Abstract

In this article, the problem of young people who make up the main part of internal migration in the country, including rural youth who have migrated from the village to the city, is raised. Youth is the main factor of social protests and changes, adaptation and integration of rural youth with increasing level of urbanization to urban life through effective mechanisms is very urgent, quality social research is very necessary.

The author of the article presents the results of a focus study on the adaptation and integration of rural youth through social elevator mechanisms in Almaty and Zhetysu regions, where there is a large concentration of young people. A focus discussion will be held among young people who have moved from the village to the city in the cities of Taldykorgan and Konaev, and conclusions and recommendations will be made.
