Abstract
The article deals with the general issues of the spatial structure of the territory of the southern macroregion of Kazakhstan, where the main role is played by the state policy on the modernization of the transport system. Certain aspects of the spatial organization of the south of Kazakhstan that affect economic growth are considered. At the same time, the region is considered as a relationship between agglomeration zones and regions where the transport and logistic infrastructure determines the further vector of their development. At the same time, the main tools for the implementation of the state transport policy in order to ensure an effective spatial structure are presented.
