ON THE CURRENT GEOPOLITICAL SITUATION SURROUNDING THE KOREAN PENINSULA

Abstract

This article deals with the geopolitical developments happening in the region and the world. The current war in Ukraine has direct implications for political processes in the Republic of Korea and the DPRK and the foreign policies of the two Korean states. The ongoing transformation in the current world order has a profound effect on Central Asian states as well. In this regard, it is important to follow and analyze the events on the Korean Peninsula, which have practical implications for the countries of the Central Asia region.
